Away for Raya

I headed to Fraser's Hill during the Raya break & found the traffic surprisingly smooth.

KKB dam - the view is simply enchanting. One can see the reflection of the sky on the stilled water.

Jeriau waterfall at Fraser's. It was so sad to find the water polluted ie teh tarik colour. It was already quite bad when I visited few years back but now it has gone worse.

The charming Smoke House.

Happy faces as our dinner came! We waited about 30 mins for our food, which was not too bad when compared to our earlier lunch (at another restaurant) that failed to come after waiting for 1 hour.

Resting our feet after many hours of walking.

We stayed at the Silverpark.
All in all, it was quite a fun trip because of the company. I was glad that the group decided to reduce our stay to overnight...if not I think I will have fungus growing on me. Highlight of this trip includes:
- made 10 new friends . . . discovered I'm such a lazy bum compared to my friends who exercise regularly
- drove up to Fraser's for the 1st time
- lost my voice for the 2nd time in 2 weeks

Birthday celebration?

Our beloved tai-koh and tai-kah-cheh.

The birthday boy must be thinking - "Is this a celebrating or torturing session?" We bombarded him with C A T - on the cake & card as well as during the games. Thanks Dan for being so sporting!

Mr & Mrs Lee's place

The pink & white group - we just happened to wear pink & white that night!

The host & hostess ie Mr & Mrs Lee, together with Aunty Mag.

Finally paid a visit to Chee Seng & Shelley's new home. Strangely their place isn't that far now that I've gone there =) Their home is bright & lovely!

Merdeka Eve

On Merdeka Eve, my colleagues & I went to see fireworks in Putrajaya. It was one of those rare moment that I would go and join the massive crowd - usually I shy away from crowd except for VINCCI sales =) Putrajaya was crowded - cars & people were everywhere, the jam was bad and the phone lines were congested too! The smartag I brought along didn't help much. Some were well prepared as they brought along mat, stools & snacks while waiting for the fireworks. And the wait was worthwhile as the fireworks were pretty but too bad I failed to take any decent shot.

6 hours later I was back to Putrajaya for Prayer Walk! This time round the place was quiet & empty.
Finally I got some photos to post . . .

The pyramids remind me of Lourve entrance.

Me peeking into the pyramids while the gals are posing for Choon Ean.

Posing in front of the pyramid for group picture.
