At T H E Carnival

1 Oct: Our cg is on duty to man the "Guli Gemilang" stall at the Carnival. Objective of the game: roll 10 marbles into the circle, thereafter take another 3 marbles to hit them out of the circle.

We had time to play too =)

Who is Daniel targeting?...

.... Pr Seng Fei loh.

Oliver attempting hula-hoop.... The younger kids were good at this - they can twist hula-hoop & walk simultaneously.

Celebrating Daniel's birthday

29 oct 06: We celebrated Daniel's birthday one day earlier. Jac forfeited him during ice-breaker. She made him to dress up with her bridal shower accessories (which we sabo her earlier).

Oliver was assigned to help Daniel to dress up. Check out the lipstick - sponsored by Shireen who also gave them her eye shadow. Until this point, Daniel was clueless to the birthday surprise. As for his make over, Oliver did a good job on him - he looked gorgeous wearing make-up and the accessories....kekeke.

More ice-breakers....

Thanks Jac for organising Dan's birthday surprise. And not forgetting Dan for being so sporting!

JB visit

My first visit to JB for work.

Me & colleagues stayed at Zon Regency Hotel. Found the hotel not well maintained, I had to change my room because there were ants crawling near the bed.

Bernard, my colleague from South, a good host who took good care of us. We're never hungry with him around. He took us to taste some of JB best food including Har Poh (prawn), Kuay Teow Kia (mini hor fun in bak-kut-teh soup with braised egg, tofu, salted vege etc), hakka dishes (bittergourd soup, pork with yam, fried pork) & nasi beryani. He also took us to foot & thai Massage.

Gary, my other colleague.

Night view at Festive Street Mall.

There were replica of different type of Malay houses.

View from my hotel room. Spore is just across the sea (look for the 2 high towers).

Our last meal at Nina before we left JB. Here served excellent nasi beryani & air bandung soda. We hardly eat on the 3rd day because we overstuff ourselves earlier =)
Overall, it was a P & P trip - pork & pain because we had pork for many meals & endured pain from both the foot & thai massage!

Kill 3 Birds with 1 Stone

Greeted with this lovely sunset as I drove to Jonathan & Pei Sien's thanksgiving dinner on 24 Sep 06. We also celebrated birthday for Oliver & Justin's girlfriend. So we killed 3 birds with 1 stone on that day.

Oliver's cake (carrot cake, baked by our favourite baker, Juen). Actually I still don't know what is his favourite cake. Is it carrot or cheese?

Prayer from Pr Moy How over the birthday boy & gal.

Birthday gal.

Wife feeding hubby (both tried not to laugh as they were told to look at each other lovingly).

Pei Sien with her cute nephew, Samuel.

Giant muffin from CK & Jac.

Glad to see CK & Jac at Jonathan's place after they were lost for 2 hours (looking for Jonathan's place).
